The Common Sense Canuck brings you Canadian political commentary and analysis that you might find doesn’t adhere to mainstream political ideologies. We would even argue it may be unlike most things you find in political op-eds, stump speeches, or, frankly, most places these days.
Our goal is to provide a “common sense” analysis of issues ranging over and across the political spectrum. Everything is up for discussion through a lens that is increasingly being forgotten and dismantled: that of plain, good old fashion common sense.
Because of this, some of our writing may seem controversial, or even to some critics, somewhat distasteful. However, as George Orwell says, “If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.”

On the subject of bias… we firmly believe everyone has one (including us). As this site is unaffiliated with any National or Provincial political party, we take liberties to discuss all parties and their policies as we see fit.
